I first met Kimi & Corey after being referred by a past groom of mine. Sunset Cruise Rehearsal Dinner
The wedding festivities kicked off with an intimate sunset cruise along the Cabo coastline. It was the perfect way for Kimi and Corey’s closest family and friends to soak in the breathtaking views while enjoying some delicious food and drinks. A sunset cruise is also a great icebreaker amongst friends and family at the beginning of a long week of events.
Welcome Party on the Beach
Next up was a beachside welcome party at Hard Rock Los Cabos. Guests were asked to come dressed to match the all-white theme and embrace beach attire. A cozy lounge with string lights and a man-made fire pit in the sand created the perfect ambiance against the turquoise ocean and peach sunset. A chic boho-style bar and delicious food set the tone for this night of mingling, laughter, and celebration.
The Wedding Day: A Rooftop Celebration with a View
Kimi and Corey exchanged vows in the lush Coda Garden at Hard Rock Cabo. The serene and intimate space felt like a hidden paradise that offered the stunning beach and ocean views of the resort without all the nuisance of the sand.
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests were whisked away to the rooftop of Los Gallos for the cocktail hour and reception. The panoramic views, warm candlelight glow, and lively music created an unforgettable atmosphere. From a live saxophonist serenading guests to a late-night taco bar that kept the party going, every detail was designed to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
To top it all off, Kimi and Corey ended their Hard Rock Cabo wedding with a stunning fireworks display. This surprise element lit up the Cabo sky as the couple shared their first danceit —was a moment no one will ever forget.
Hard Rock Los Cabos Wedding Enhancements
While every resort is unique in its offerings and each of my couples are unique in their priorities, I always recommend picking something to splurge on. It can be anything from upgrading your seat to first class to customizing your dance floor with a dance floor wrap or cold sparklers.
For Kimi and Corey, photography was important so they chose to fly their photographer from the U.S. and cover her stay while she captured the wedding events. Lighting and ambiance were important to them, so they upgraded their decor package to include 300 candles and twinkle lights that sparkled in the sky above the reception.
Top-notch entertainment was also a priority to Kimi and Corey, so they opted for a live saxophonist during cocktail hour, a live typewriter poet during the ceremony and of course, the breathtaking firework display that ended the night. Kimi agreed that they “definitely splurged on a few things that made the day even more special, but it was totally worth it for the experience and the memories (they will) have forever.”
