I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Live Aqua Cancun is one of my absolute favorite resorts to work with for destination weddings in Cancun! I’ve personally stayed here three times (yes, three!) and I would go back in a heartbeat. Why? The service is ridiculously good and is the high level of service I expect for my clients during their wedding week.
This adults-only, all-inclusive resort is located in Cancun’s hotel zone and checks all of the boxes for a wedding that feels both luxurious and stress free. The resort is only 25 minutes from Cancun Airport and is conveniently located near the La Isla Mall which is a short walk away.
Who Is Live Aqua Cancun Ideal For?
Live Aqua Cancun is ideal for couples who want the feel of a smaller, boutique-style resort where it’s easy for guests to run into each other, whether it’s lounging by the pool or grabbing a bite at the sushi window (yes, that magical place exists).
This all-incluive resort in Cancun is a fantastic fit for honeymooners and couples planning quick-trip wedding weekends who want luxury without the chaos of a massive resort. Foodies will be in heaven here as the culinary scene is well above average for an all-inclusive, and even clients with dietary restrictions or allergies will feel taken care of. If you’re more of a zen-seeker, you’ll love the aromatherapy menus, pillow menus, and general vibe of relaxation that hits you the second you walk in.
Since this is an adults-only resort, it also attracts those looking for peace, calm, and maybe a custom crafted cocktail by the infinity pool. Let’s talk about their beach, it is an absolute showstopper with white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water. Bonus: it tends to dodge the dreaded sargassum. First things first: the button by the bed, push it. Trust me. It magically opens the curtains to reveal the sparkling turquoise ocean just outside your window.
If you’re looking to take your stay up a notch, book an Aqua Club Oceanfront room or suite. The upgrade gives you butler service, access to the exclusive Aqua Club Lounge, and some of the best views in the house. It’s absolutely worth the splurge.
Want to feel like a celebrity for the day? Rent a cabana. They’re surprisingly affordable and instantly elevate your pool or beach experience.
All coffee lovers will rejoice: while it’s not technically a Starbucks, the resort serves Starbucks coffee drinks included complimentary in your stay. Sipping a mocha while staring at the ocean? Yes please!

Weddings at Live Aqua Cancun
Live Aqua Cancun is one of the few resorts that offers only one wedding per day. That’s right, yours will be the star of the resort. Planning starts right away (not 2-4 months before like many other resorts), and you’ll work with a stellar team that includes trusted preferred vendors.
Some packages even include a 2-night planning trip before the big day (hello, pre-wedding vacay!), and many inclusions like live cocktail hour music and a couples massage are included where other resorts charge extra.
Venues
Live Aqua Cancun is a truly dreamy Cancun destination wedding venue with ample options, each with its own unique vibe.
North Beach is a fan favorite for beach wedding ceremonies, complete with a built-in bar and stunning views. Just note that during turtle season (May to December), events here must end by 8pm. South Beach is the go-to for larger weddings, with space for up to 300 guests and the same seasonal curfew.
The Azur Pool offers a beautiful setting if you are dreaming of a pool side reception. A fun little bonus option for an added fee you can even cover the pool to expand your guest space.
The Garden of the Senses offers a garden setting with a theater-style layout that’s perfect for live music. Or if you are looking for a more intimate location, the cenote-style setup at Carnivore seats just 30 guests and offers a serious wow-factor.
The Grand Aqua Ballroom is often considered the backup plan for rain, but it’s a gorgeous, spacious venue in its own right, accommodating up to 500 guests for a reception. For a private and elegant oceanfront celebration be sure to check out the Azur Restaurant.
If you are wanting any outdoor after party celebrations it is important to note that all outdoor events must end by 11pm, but you can book the ballroom or head to Egos Bar (open ‘til 1am) to keep the celebrations going.
Destination Wedding Package
Live Aqua Cancun offers a range of wedding packages to suit everything from intimate elopements to large elaborate celebrations, with prices ranging from around $2,000 to $19,000 USD.
The Serenata package is a romantic option designed just for the couple, with a price around $2,000, though it’s complimentary if you book a top-tier suite for three nights. It includes experiences like a beach dinner, wine tasting, a 50-minute couples massage, and a private cabana for the day.
For small groups, the Beso package (approximately $2,700 USD) accommodates up to 22 guests and adds a rehearsal dinner, semi-private reception, spa treatment, and cabana day to the mix.
The Abrazo package, starting around $9,400 USD, is ideal for groups up to 30 people and includes a private cocktail hour, live music, a three-hour reception with open bar, and upgraded decor, perfect for couples who want a polished, intimate celebration.
For larger weddings, the Corazon package ranges from approximately $12,800 to $19,500 USD and is designed for 50 to 100 guests. It includes everything in the Abrazo package, but with more extensive dining, décor, and entertainment upgrades.
All packages come with key inclusions like a symbolic ceremony, floral accents, ceremony sound system, wedding cake, and romantic turndown service. Custom packages are also available if you want something completely tailored to your vision, and best of all, Live Aqua waives outside vendor fees if your vendor stays at least three nights in your room block.
